inner of the First Prize of the Geneva Competition (2018), Kevin Pedro Spagnolo (1996) is one of the youngest and most talented artists of his generation. Winner of many other national and international competitions, including the Concours Internationale de Clarinette Jacques Lancelot et Ghent International Clarinet Competition, Kevin performs all over Europe. Kevin began studying clarinet at the age of eight at the Conservatory of Lucca and graduated in Remo Pieri’s class with top marks and honorable mention. He improves with Carlo Failli and Fabrizio Meloni. Then, with Romain Guyot, he studied at the Geneva Conservatory, where he also completed the Master Solist in 2019 and won the audition as First Clarinet of the Swedish Chamber Orchestra. He has performed as a soloist, including on tour, with Orchestra de Aguascalientes with Roman Revueltas, Orchestre de Chambre de Genève, Orchestre des Nations, Bruxelles Philharmonic, Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, Swedish Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Regionale Toscana, Orchestre de Chambre de l’HEM. She has performed in recitals and various festivals in France, Italy, Switzerland and Germany, with Carlos Sanchis, Chloe Ji-yeong Mun, Theo Fouchenneret, Lorenzo Soulés, Quatour Voce, in the Montpellier Festival (Radio France), Jeunes Talents in Paris, Concerts d’été de Saint Germain in Geneva, Festival de les Haudères, Filarmonica di Rovereto, Musikfestival Blaibach and many others. Some of his concerts have been recorded for radio broadcasts on Radio France, Bayerischer Rundfunk, Rai Radio 3, Radio Télévision Suisse. He regularly plays in duo with pianist Simone Rugani in various festivals and seasons in Italy, including Amici della Musica in Florence, Perugia Classica, Lucca Classica, Concert Season of the Ivan Bruschi Foundation in Arezzo among others. In 2021 his first solo CD, Façades, with the Swedish Chamber Orchestra, sponsored by Breguet and the Geneva Competition, featuring music by G. Rossini, C.M. von Weber, Jean Françaix and Béla Kovács, will be released. Kevin is also dedicated to teaching Masterclasses throughout Europe and is a lecturer at the Avos International School of Music in Piazza del Popolo, Rome.
